Movement Lab

S2A, Arts and Humanities Laboratory: a bridge between East and West, North and South;  a space to connect, to share, to explore, to listen, to learn, to discover, to create and to inspire.

The unique approach created by “Spirit2Arts” takes as its blueprint the study or analysis of the levels of consciousness on human behaviour. The aim is not to “heal” our ‘inner psychodrama’ by creating a piece of theatre or “drama” out of it, but to observe, understand and embrace the inner functioning of our being; our irreconcilable contradictions, physically, emotionally and cognitively.

What We Do

Let’s write a few details about what happens during a workshop, so people can have an idea

E.g.

Our immersive workshops merge movement, consciousness, and storytelling. Each session is a creative laboratory where participants explore the body not just as a tool of expression, but as a source of inner knowledge and memory.

Every workshop is an invitation to discover, observe, move, feel, and ultimately create—from a place of awareness, authenticity, and embodied wisdom.

PREVIOUS LABS

“Please Feel Free NOT to Find Your Place”

A LAB organised as a series of three connected workshops. Acontinuous creative process. that takes movement as its axe. From the movement geometry to its intentionality exploring its organicity, theatricality and musicality to arrive to its conection with the voice/text. A journey through tecnique, pre-expresion and conection.

In paralel, the short story “Romance with a Double Bass” by A. Checkov will bring the words and “eachone’s narrative” to the process.

“In-Pressions / Ex-Pressions. To be & Not to be”

Taking this premise as its starting point, Spiri2Arts is proposing a laboratory to explore and develop a creative and “therapeutic” process; an experience depicted in Italo Calvino’s novel “The Cloven Viscount” which presents a world divided into “good” and “bad”. This Manichaeism approach based within the main character offers the opportunity to explore our inner dualities, contradictions, dark sides, duplicities and irrationalities in the pursuit of a more harmonious inner balance and strength: “To be & To be”.

“Your Body Tells Your Story”

The 3rd TransilvaniaTheatreLab (Summer 2024), invites to discover “your story” through your body. During a week we will listen the non-heard, we will explore “the invisible” through “the visible”. To make connection, re-connect and even why not, re-conciliate with our bodies, with our souls. Breathing, energetic channels, vocal connection, inner music, movement… will be our vocabulary. A story written by Edo Gergely Alfonsín will also guide us in this physical, and non-physical journey to our bodies and souls.
